Summer Camp Counselor
If you enjoy being in the outdoors and have at least two years' experience working with children, we encourage you to apply for a Summer Camp Counselor position to supervise young campers and make sure they learn and have fun. YWCA Greater Harrisburg's Camp Reily Summer Camp Program is an authentic, outdoor summer day camp experience for children ages 6 through 12 that runs Monday-Friday, 7:30 am to 5:30 pm.
As a Summer Camp Counselor you will interact with our campers throughout the day, helping them make new friends, try new things and most importantly, ensure campers are safe at all times. You’ll be responsible for overseeing their activities and ensuring they don’t get lost or hurt. The job duties of a Summer Camp Counselor include coordinating our themed weeks of fun. Being reliable and able to build good relationships with children are two essential traits of a Camp Counselor. If you’re patient, energetic but strict when needed, we’d like to meet you.
